The Foldaway Bronco Breeze is another great offering from the folks at Barmah, USA. Sporting a 2 3/4" brim on all sides, the Breeze crown is topped with a full-circumference mesh grill to allow the heat to escape & some fresh air to reach your noggin. The mesh is thick & firm so it doesn't flop about. It makes a noticeable difference in comfort on a hot day.The leather is just the right thickness to maintain its shape & has a satin finish with an attractive brown & olive tone. The brim is well-formed with an embedded wire to maintain its shape. The band is the classic braided leather with tails & Barmah button. Mine appears sewn in place & I can see no glue. There are eyelets to attach a chin strap should you so desire.The Breeze is a foldable & may be stored in the included travel pouch. I do not typically fold my hats so I can't offer feedback on how it holds up & recovers from being folded. It appears quite robust & can probably handle folding easily but, for me at least, I prefer not risking altering its appearance.As I have come to expect the XL fits my 23" skull perfectly. I have twelve Barmah hats & all have been spot-on for size. I recommend a proper measurement & order according to their size chart. A ​sizing kit is included in case you need to size it down a bit to get the perfect fit. There is a full-circumference elastic sweat band to keep your hat securely in place while avoiding stampeding water buffalo or duking it out with buff Joeys you may stumble upon.Overall the Foldaway Bronco Breeze is a well made hat with the classic Outback styling & quality you expect from Barmah. I am quite pleased.
