Love the professional fit and finish of this cap. As good it not better than our MOD issue. But 3 sizes too small. Fits my 5 year old perfectly, just too small for an adult.I bought this cap for display purposes for a shadow box so I got it in a smaller size so I can’t say about the size, however, I do own a much more expensive version of one of these caps for my pipe band uniform, so I can compare the two, and the build quality is good and near identical to the one made in Scotland, only real difference is the thickness of the felt is not as thick on this one. For my use that is unimportant though. Now, that being said, if you are looking to complete a highland outfit or completing a pipe band outfit and you are on a budget, this is a good option.Very well made. I don't get to wear them often and this looks like it will hold up very well.I have worn a military hat size 7 1/4 for 40 years. This one was too small. Really too expensive to send back to England so I will find a friend who can use it. Nice material in construction. No slots to Mount a Cap Badge. I would recommend ordering one size larger than you normally wear..Received faster than expected. Fits good and made a good quality. And for the price I would highly recommend.It fit just rightCorrect fit. Tiny badge.Apparently, Tartanista can't follow their own warnings about measurements or they assume all of their customers are idiots. Since I order a size 58 and they sent me a size 54. Which is too small and the cost to return it isn't worth it. so I am stuck with a child's hat. Thanks for that!This Glengarry is very well made and it looks and feels the part. I am wearing it in a Pipe Band, so it has been exposed to the elements. Provided it is allowed to dry out, air well and store correctly, it looks good as new each time. The dye on the dice hasn't run as I have seen on some hats. This is definitely excellent value for money and compares well to some very expensive versions. I have bought other items from Tartanista also, and their customer services is excellent.As a piper, a hat that can last and looks good is important.
