Works well for my situation. I selected this fleece beanie because I wanted a warm hat that I could fold up and store in my coat pocket. A larger size was desired because I wear hearing aids and other, smaller beanies fit too tight and compress the hearing aids into my scalp. In short, this beanie has been warm enough during a Minnesota winter yet also can be easily kept in my coat pocket. The size is just right while most options I have tried have been too tight for my purposes.
