I'm not sure why anyone with brains would send a shaped-felt hat in a loose bag !!! It came smashed in on one side & had 2 other small dents. I bought it for my granddaughter who dress classy.The size is a too large for a kid's/child's head. There is no size-tag in the interior of the hat to determine if it was the wrong size or mismarked. [from china]However the color is great ! And if the felt is wool-felt it will definitely be water & snow proof.
