My son likes it. Big is good fit for him. Warm and easy to take with him in a pocket until time to put it on again.Works well for my situation. I selected this fleece beanie because I wanted a warm hat that I could fold up and store in my coat pocket. A larger size was desired because I wear hearing aids and other, smaller beanies fit too tight and compress the hearing aids into my scalp. In short, this beanie has been warm enough during a Minnesota winter yet also can be easily kept in my coat pocket. The size is just right while most options I have tried have been too tight for my purposes.Hats for large heads are hard to find. This one is great!!!You barely know it's on. Fits well, is extremely lightweight, but keeps you warm. I have a huge noggin, and this is one of the first hats that has fit me well.It's a pain to find a hat for my big head but this definitely worksThis is a Big Hat, for all us guys with large heads, this is the one that fits. Soft and warm and covers down to your ears when pulled down.Glad I read the reviews that said it was a Large/ Big Hat.I got this for my husband for Christmas. He gets so discouraged by getting hats that are too small and uncomfortable. He is thrilled with this hat in every way and is planning to order a second one as an extra!Previous deliveries of this size when delivered on Sunday were in the mailbox. This one was in the garage in a different spot than I was used to seeing it. All resolved. Great product once I found it.My head is in the L/XL range of sizing, at a circumference of exactly 60 cm. This fleece beanie slips on perfectly - not too loose and certainly not too tight - just how I like it, and a rarity in Europe where they seem to think we all have child-sized craniums when it comes to this sort of head wear. I even like the milk chocolate brown colour which didn't come over too well in the online picture when I ordered it. I was intending to order another but they seem to be no longer on sale via the 'Amazon.co.uk' site. This beanie was sent from the U.S, so maybe I'll chance my luck on the U.S 'Amazon' site to see if there'd be any joy there. May I close by hinting that there is a market for people with my head size and above in Europe that may not have been addressed.EamonnWhen you have a head which is 26.5 Inches it is VERY hard to find a hat in the UK. This hat from the USA, I took a risk and ordered it. Arrived promptly and it is well made. Fits well and I am happy.The hat is expensive, poorly made and does not offer any protection against the wind, rain or cold.It is big, as the description states, but it is so thin, that the slightest wind just blows right through it. If it rains, the hat gets soaked straight away, and its size the pulls it off your head.As far as the cold is concerned, I had to wear it over the top of a smaller hat to get any insulation during last few weeks cold spell in UK.Avoid like the rubbish hat that it is!This is a basic, fairly thick fleece hat and great for the winter. I would stress though it really is BIG. That's fine if you want to keep extra warm by pulling it down to your neck or to double the brim over like a watch cap. However, if you want a more closely fitting hat this isn't for you.Arrive well packaged in very good time. Picture shows this rather more grey than it is, definitely more for a female, heather is really an obvious choice to describe the colour. Size as described too, sadly had to return this as ordered it for my man who refused to wear it due to the colour!
