Ordering straw hats online is always a gamble - at times they come so tightly rolled and wrapped the wrinkles will never come out, and often they are very cheaply made.I am pleased to say this is not the case with this one. The hat came packaged with a plastic form supporting the crown and brim, with a cardboard overlay on top of the brim that kept if perfectly shaped - it was then put in a plastic bag to further protect it. Hat has a nice weight to it, fits well (and has an adjustable band) and a chin strap you can tuck up inside if you aren't braving any high winds that day and don't need to worry about it blowing off!
